Greetings to you all

An ancient cry for help from God and hope for the future found it’s home in the Psalms over 1000 years prior to the birth of Jesus.
For centuries the 118th Psalm gave prophets, songwriters and scribes a puzzling and yet powerful dual image:
“Hosanna”, then, became a capsule of prophetic promise in the following centuries. In a single Hebrew word, it expressed urgent yearning for an unknown Person.
From choirs singing psalms in Solomon’s temple to the weeping refugees in Babylon who grievously “hung their harps on the poplar trees” (Psalm 137:2)./, that profound “cry” for help was a thread woven into the fabric of their faith.
A vast treasury of truth about Christ and his Kingdom is contained in that capsule. “Hosanna in the highest!” rings through those early centuries as the cry of hope. When Jesus chose a donkey for sacred service, that cry met the King who reigns at the center of the story.
We celebrate the eternal hope of Hosanna Sunday on March 29th, Good Friday on April 3rd (at 7:00 PM) and Jesus’ Resurrection on Sunday April 5th.
