Dear friends

It’s a high honor to share the journey of discovering and applying God’s Word!
We love to welcome new friends each Sunday with fellowship over fresh-brewed coffee, tea or juice. If it’s been a while since you stopped in for Cafe Liberty time, try it out between 9:45 and 10:15 AM this Sunday!
We miss you when you need to be away. Name-tags are out again each 1st Sunday and, of course, we always want to know any way that you or a loved one is in need of prayer.
Along with the beautiful upgrade of the Cafe Liberty space and adjoining rooms, there’s more happening in the week ahead: painting trim in adjoining rooms, and stairwell trim and walls to prepare for new carpet on the stairs soon.
With a warm welcome to you all, October events include extra opportunities to share in ministry and mission together.

See the links below to join in our goal to support the Alpha Pregnancy Center (of Reisterstown) and Operation Christmas Child.
Many thanks also to all who contributed to Challenge Farm’s annual collection of beans and corn for the students and staff in Kitale Kenya (East Africa).
Good news! The Challenge Farm team reached the financial goal for bulk purchases of food supplies! Extra offerings for the food supplies are applied to ongoing needs in the food preparation and serving costs, so any additional funds you have considered giving will always help defray those costs, and applied where they are most beneficial for those who are in the Challenge Far programs.
For Operation Christmas Child: There are two ways to be involved:
Alpha Pregnancy Center | Free & Confidential Pregnancy Center
Each year in the fall, Alpha Pregnancy Center holds an event that is a key to their success in equipping volunteers to serve expectant moms and their little ones! Free tickets are available for you and any guests you invite!
This year’s banquet will be at Grace Bible Church 3250 Charmil Drive, Manchester, Maryland 21102 on Saturday evening, October 18, 2025
Our commitment to protecting unborn babies and supporting their moms is beautifully expressed by Alpha and by the Pregnancy Services Center in Westminster. One way we do this is by sponsoring tables at the annual Alpha Banquet. Pre-sponsored tables are open for your presence as our guests. An additional blessing is to invite a friend, neighbor or co-worker to a free place at the table! The “gift” of the meal is a wonderful way to introduce others to the great work done by all the volunteers, staff and Board of Alpha. Please consider signing up yourself and (if you can) a guest to fill the seats Liberty Church is sponsoring. See the clipboard on the Connections Table for Alpha and join us!

Prayer Updates

Please keep each of these in prayer who are recovering from surgeries and/or recent hospital stays:

Liberty’s Media Team not only serve on Sundays, but also maintain the church website and work toward upgrading the capacity for livestreaming and the connectivity issues we have with our location where high-speed internet services are not available at a reasonable cost. Many hours of planning and on-site labor have gone into these technical tasks. Livestream has not been dependable lately (via Facebook Live) due to the equipment and services we have with T-Mobile. Many thanks to Ian Eberly and Jonathan Nusbaum for work on the upgrade.
For the time being, the YouTube channel or the church website are the best ways to get video and or to get the sermons on Spotify link.
Other Volunteer Opportunities in Carroll County! A core value of our church family has been to cheer on and support those organizations, ministries and programs in whose work contributes to enriching community life. One opportunity we always support is a request for volunteers such as this one from LifeBridge.

A new volunteer care and service opportunity: LifeBridge/Carroll Hospital is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join its Volunteer Program. Whether you’re retired, have flexible time, or simply feel called to serve, there are a variety of meaningful opportunities available including greeting visitors, assisting in the gift shops, supporting patients and families, and more.
Flexible shifts and a supportive team make this a rewarding way to serve in your community.
To fill out an online application, go to www.lifebridgehealth.org/carrollvolunteer or call 410-871-6535
Many thanks to all who give via the Offering Box on the Connections Table.
Liberty Church also offers two options for online giving: The Vanco giving portal and PayPal.
Both Vanco and PayPal are user-friendly, encrypted and secure ways to process online contributions.
You can find links for both on our Giving page.
