Greetings & Happy New Year to you all
In the wrap-up of 2022, we give thanks for all those whose care and generosity makes ministry and mission possible through our calling as a congregation. A key promise in the New Testament portrait of congregational giving is the assurance that “My God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19). That assurance for every person whose tithes and offerings pay for all the vital functions and facilities of our church is a powerful reminder that none walk alone. What an honor it is to see God’s gracious provision unfold, often in surprising ways!
In the busy paths of life, New Years’ weekend is a good time to re-cap the results of faithful giving in our midst.
Along with a very fruitful year in spiritual growth and our shared adventure of following Jesus, Liberty’s generous givers have made these and other improvements possible:
- New roof on south wing building
- New roof on church shed
- Replaced decayed wood and rebuilt walk-space between the classroom building and Buderus boiler room
- Upgraded camera and audio technology for live-streaming of worship services
- New water heater installation in south wing boiler room
- New sanctuary seating ordered with 50% down payment and funds on-hand for balance due upon delivery
- CPR-certified AED equipment installed
In each of these projects and in the upkeep on grounds, miscellaneous repairs, decorations and cleaning tasks, the volunteers who step in to serve are truly making a difference.

Join us Sunday, New Years Day as Café Liberty returns at 9:45 AM and we launch 2023 together with our 5th Advent Candle and the launch of our 2023 vision.
Kids Church launches a new era as well – on the 8th of January, the Route 66 curriculum for Explorers and Bible-land for our Pathfinders brings life-giving biblical care and instruction to girls and boys in Kids Church time each Sunday! We’re so grateful for the planning, prayer and preparation of curriculum resources that Coordinators, Jody Albright and Marsha Nusbaum provide for teachers and students to share these adventures in learning. Many thanks to each of our Kids Church teachers for serving so well and for your prayerful support of the work the Coordinators are doing for Kids Church 2023!
