Merry Christmas to you all!

Within the wondrous news of the birth of Jesus is a truth that seems to emerge in most unexpected ways in the experiences of Mary and Joseph. God’s timing is quietly and yet powerfully unveiled in the lives of those who learn to trust Him.

Though we have no recorded words from the lips of Joseph, we know as a man walking in the fear of God, he could have easily recited Proverbs 3:5-6: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; Lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”

It sure makes sense, doesn’t it, that if the man entrusted with watching over the expectant mom of God’s Messiah, and being the protector, provider and confidante of Mary every step of the way – yes, if THAT GUY needed assurance of God’s guidance, how much more do we?

I hope today in the midst of your Christmas season, you will find in the mighty treasury of God’s promises, strong assurance for your soul. As Jesus later taught His own disciples, “Your heavenly Father knows what you have need of even before you ask Him.!” Take that to heart today with whatever tests, delays, obstacles or time demands may be upon your soul. Just as the Gospels show an unmistakably strong assurance in the life of Joseph, that each step forward would be in the center of God’s will, you can bring your uncertainties to the chambers of the King. Trust is the coin of the realm in the awesome Kingdom of the Shepherd-Messiah born in Bethlehem.

We’re delighted again to welcome each of you and guests you may bring to celebrate with us.
