How beautiful it is this weekend to share in the celebration of Jessica Adams and Jonathan Nusbaum’s wedding.
Congratulations from the hearts of all to the bride and groom! Welcome to the 9:00 AM Sunday study on Early American Christian Leaders:
Session 4 in this special “Sunday School” class will be held in our multi-purpose social hall on June 29th (Session 4) and July 6th (Session 5). I think of the social hall as “Liberty’s Living Room” because of all the ways that room is used. We so appreciate our leaders in this series: Rob Moretz, Jerry Reese and David Berry ~ PLUS, a Kids class each week is provided, with a children’s lesson and some fun time together.
Welcome to all, at 9:00 AM (next two Sundays) prior to our weekly Cafe Liberty connection time in the half hour prior to 10:15 AM Worship.
Mission Offering Update
Many thanks to each giver in April or May for Challenge Farm!
A crucial need for a kitchen to repaired from fire damages was the focus of our late spring Mission Offering. Along with a mini-dorm project that your gifts and another church helped meet, we asked for your help to restore the damaged kitchen facility and equipment. Your gifts of $1800 have helped reach that project goal and now a Nairobi-based church and mission organization (International Christian Center) has pledged the remaining balance of $5693 needed for these repairs
Transfer solar panels on the kitchen roof to the chapel roof.
· Remove the old kitchen roof.
· Build a new ring beam around the wall.
· First, build two causes of stones.
· Second, build three courses of vent blocks.
· Then another two rows of stone.
· Finally, we will put a metal roof.
· The kitchen will be painted afresh.
· The working tabletops will be made of stainless steel.
Of course, as always, ANY gift to support Challenge Farm from members and friends of Liberty Church is directed at the most critical needs – and the work on Challenge Farm grounds is multi-faceted every month. Thank you all for your support.
