Greetings Liberty family & friends
As the busy Christmas season unfolds, we’re deeply blessed to welcome worshipers together to savor and explore the wonder of Immanuel, God with us.
Our second Sunday in Advent highlights the role that angels play as messengers from the realm of eternity.
In the wondrous visit of the angel Gabriel to Mary in Nazareth, the news of Immanuel reached the humblest of hearts. Her calling as a virgin in a betrothal of devotion to her future husband, Joseph, opens the window of eternity on the deepest need of every human heart. As a young expectant woman, Mary’s trust in the Word of the living God set in motion a life of trust that sparkles like a diamond to this very day. The speed of life and the stresses unique to the 21st century bring us our own unique opportunities to learn from Mary to say “Behold the servant of the Lord ~ may it be unto me according to Your Word!” (Luke 1:38)
Quick reminders of our Christmas season schedule
1. Tomorrow, December 4th, Kids Church Breakfast Event @ 10:15 AM. Parents, please have your children go directly to the Fellowship Hall at 10:15 AM for this festive time together. The Kids Church team needs your help to kick of the fun as kids wrap up this rich year of learning. Many thanks to Jody Albright and Marsha Nusbaum for coordinating the schedule of volunteer teachers through this year and for all the work they’ve invested.
With new curricula starting in January, a new season of learning and growth begins with our deepest thanks to each teacher and helper in our team!
2. In case you missed it, here again is our Advent season schedule of services ~ join us these Sundays before Christmas and on Friday, December 23rd for Candlelight worship!

December 4th ~ Cafe Liberty (9:45-10:15) & Worship (2nd Sunday of Advent) at 10:15 AM
December 11th ~ Cafe Liberty (9:45-10:15) & Worship (3rd Sunday of Advent) at 10:15 AM
December 18th ~ Birthday Breakfast for Jesus! Fellowship hall @ 10:00 AM (share attached flyer and RSVP via sign-up sheet on the Connections table)
December 23rd ~ Candlelight Christmas Worship (Christ candle in Advent) @ 7:00 PM
Help us spread the word ~ Invite friends to worship with us on the evening PRIOR to Christmas Eve.
Christmas Day ~ Our Dec 25th service will be online only at 10:15 AM on Christmas morning ~ for access visit our Live website page, YouTube, or Facebook.
Note: We return to the sanctuary together on New Years’ Day ~ January 1st, 2023 at 10:15 AM [with Cafe Liberty @ 9:45 AM]
On each of these Sundays and for our Friday evening Christmas Candlelight service, Liberty’s Live-stream is available via the church website and on Facebook live!
